bio
Gerhard Seizer is a Creative Change Agent, going beyond ‘thinking through making’, by ’thinking it through and making it happen’.
He strongly believes that only by creating balance and harmony between business and creativity can true innovation be achieved – ultimately creating meaningful physical and digital experiences.
Born and raised in Germany, he studied design rooted in the Bauhaus tradition and worked most of his 20 professional years in Japan, China and the US. Based on his expertise in East/West creative culture building, Gerhard taught design thinking processes across all of Eurasia and successfully founded the first international full-service creative agency in China. Working with both start-ups and multi-national corporations, he helped craft product and brand experiences for tomorrow's global users.
If he is not out crossing another continent in one of many overlanding explorations, he can be found forest bathing in the Pacific Northwest. He is currently based in Hamburg/Germany, learning new change strategies from his two daughters, "daddy’s little girls".
